After the partnership of Virat-Surya, the bowlers encouraged the Netherlands

Team India has won the second consecutive match in the T20 World Cup. India beat Netherlands by 56 runs in a match played in Sydney on Thursday. Now the Indian team has reached the first place in Group-2 with 4 points.

India did not have a good start in this match and only 38 runs were scored in the power-play. After that, there were four factors that helped us get an easy win. Let us go through all the reasons one by one.

Netherlands’ inexperience
In this World Cup, the Indian batting line-up is being said to be the most powerful in the tournament. Despite this, the Indian batsmen could not play freely till the first 10 overs. Team India’s score was 67/1 after half the innings ended. But, after this the Dutch team lost its grip on the match.

The inexperience of the Netherlands to play big matches took a toll on the team. Earlier, Netherlands had not played any T20 match against Team India. The Netherlands has so far played only 36 T20 Internationals against 12 Test playing nations. Of these, 21 matches are against lighter teams like Ireland, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe.

India lost just two wickets in the entire 20 overs and due to this the team managed to accelerate in the last overs. In the last 10 overs, India scored at a run rate of around 11.
