Apple is preparing to release a slew of new products this year. This includes Mac Pro, iMac Pro, and Mac Mini models. The Cupertino company is also expected to release a redesigned MacBook Air and an entry-level MacBook Pro, according to a new report. The company is preparing to release an iPad Pro with wireless charging and a new external monitor. In the first half of 2022, customers may see a 5G-enabled iPhone SE. Following that, the iPhone 14 smartphone models will be released later this year. Later this year, the company plans to release three new Apple Watch models as well as its first virtual reality headset.
Apple is working on a smaller Mac Pro with 40 CPU cores and 128 graphics cores, as well as a larger screen, a new iMac Pro, and a new Mac Mini model. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman obtained this information from his weekly newspaper. The MacBook Pro could also be reintroduced as a more affordable model. Apple is also rumoured to be working on a new iPad Pro model that will support wireless charging.
According to Gurman, the punch-hole display will be available in the iPhone 14 series this year. Apple Watch SE, Apple Watch Series 8, and Rugged Apple Watch models are all expected to be developed by the company.
The company’s first virtual reality headset (codenamed N301) may also be released, according to the newsletter. The headset is expected to run on the ROS operating system, codenamed Oak, and to debut at WWDC 2022 later this year. Apple released iOS 15 and macOS 12 at WWDC 2021, and Gurman claims that the company is working on iOS 16 (codenamed Sydney) and macOS 13 (codenamed Rom), which will be released later this year.
