Google Chrome is one of the most widely used browsers on both mobile and desktop platforms around the world. The browser now has a new feature that will be useful for all customers who are waiting for the price of a product to drop.

Chrome now has a new ‘Track Prices’ function that allows users to keep track of any price cuts on things they like. This eliminates the need to manually visit these websites and refresh the page to see whether the pricing has changed.

Chrome will accomplish this by adding a new overlay to the tab grid that will display the product’s new price. Users will see a separate overlay for each tab and product when there are many products in several tabs, allowing them to watch the prices of many things at once without having to manually navigate to each URL.

The feature, however, must first be unlocked before it can be utilized.

To do so, launch Chrome on Android and select the three-dot menu in the upper right corner. Users should notice a new ‘Track Prices’ option among the alternatives that appear. This will only appear after your Google Chrome app has been updated to the most recent version.

While the feature is now only available on Android devices, it is expected to be added to iOS in the future. The feature is presently only available in the United States, but it may be expanded to other countries in the future, such as India.
