Huge rise in the stock market: Sensex rises 1,500 points, investors benefit

The Bombay Stock Exchange’s (BSE) Sensex opened with a huge gain today. It is currently trading at 56,010, representing a 1,500-point gain. Investors have benefited to the tune of Rs 8 lakh crore as a result of this.

The market capitalization has surpassed 250 lakh crores.

The listed companies’ market capitalization is now Rs 250.40 lakh crore, up from Rs 242.28 lakh crore on Thursday. The investors suffered a loss of Rs 13.4 lakh crore yesterday. Today’s Sensex opened at 55,321, up 792 points. In the first hour, it hit a high of 55,700 and a low of 55,299 points. Its 30 shares are all up in value.

The fastest-growing sector was IndusInd.

Among the top gainers is IndusInd Bank, which has gained 4.86 percent. Tata Steel and Mahindra & Mahindra both increased by 3%, while Wipro, Bajaj Finserv, TCS, UltraTech, Bajaj Finance, ICICI Bank, SBI, HCL Tech, Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra, Airtel, NTPC, and HDFC all increased by 2% to 3%. Huh.

Titan and Kotak Bank are also on the rise.

Apart from these, Titan, Kotak Bank, HDFC Bank, Asian Paints, Infosys, Reliance Industries, PowerGrid, Larsen & Toubro, Sun Pharma, Hindustan Unilever, Maruti, Nestle, and Dr. Reddy have all seen a 2 percent increase in their stock prices. The Sensex has 87 stocks in the upper circuit and 199 in the lower circuit. This means that their prices can’t go up or down more than a certain amount in a single day.

The shares of 2,062 companies on the Sensex are up, while 549 are down. There are 33 stocks that are at one-year highs and 35 stocks that are at one-year lows. The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange, on the other hand, is currently trading at 16,734, up 486 points. Out of the 50 stocks in the portfolio, 48 are up and two are down.

All four indices are rising.

The four major Nifty indexes, Midcap, Next 50, Financial, and Bank 2, are all up over 3%. Nifty began trading at 16,515 and reached a low of 16,478 and a high of 16,587. Only Britannia and Cipla are still standing. Tata Motors, IndusInd Bank, UPL, Adani Port, and Tata Steel are among the top gainers.

On Thursday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 2,700 points.

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex dropped 2700 points (4.72 percent) to 54,529 on Thursday, while the Nifty dropped 815 points (4.78 percent) to 16,247. The total market capitalization of listed companies was Rs 242.28 lakh crore. Due to the drop, investors lost Rs 13.4 lakh crore yesterday.
