India-Russia oil deal: America said – do not violate our sanctions
Following the imposition of sanctions during the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Russia has offered India discounted crude oil. India is still considering this proposal, but the world’s attention has been drawn to India’s position. According to the US, if India accepts this proposal, it will not violate US sanctions. However, India will undoubtedly suffer as a result of this agreement.
When history is written, where did you stand?
“I don’t think this deal will violate any US sanctions,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said. However, we must keep in mind where you were when today’s history books were written. Our message to any country, according to Saki, is to adhere to the restrictions that we have recommended.
India must make certain that it does not back Russian aggression.
Dr. Ami Bera, an Indian-American lawmaker, has expressed her displeasure with reports that India is considering a heavily discounted Russian proposal. Bera stated that history will show that the world united in opposition to the invasion of Ukraine, and that you chose to remain with Russia. He stated that it is India’s responsibility, as the world’s largest democracy and quad leader, to ensure that it does not directly or indirectly support Putin’s aggression.
