LG has launched its newest UltraGear gaming laptop (17G90Q) ahead of CES 2022 in Las Vegas next month, and it has already won the Innovation Award at CES 2022.
The LG UltraGear 17G90Q includes vapour chamber cooling. More details regarding the laptop will be revealed at CES 2022. The gaming laptop is slated to be available in January 2022, with South Korea being the first to receive it.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics card, two-channel RAM, and a super-fast twin SSD arrangement power the LG UltraGear gaming laptop. The LG UltraGear gaming laptop features a 17-inch IPS panel with a 1 millisecond reaction time and a 300 Hz refresh rate to offer immersive, seamless gameplay for even the most graphically demanding PC games. Depending on the game, the LG UltraGear Studio controls the CPU and GPU.
The UltraGear 17G90Q has an unidentified SSD for storage but supports both channels. DTS:X Ultra 3D sound with vapor chamber cooling. It has a fullsize keyboard with a number pad.
Thermally, it has a vapor chamber that keeps the laptop cool even when pushed to its limits.
It weights 2.64kg and has USB 4 Gen 3 2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2 1 Type-C, HDMI, RJ45, DC-in, microSD/UFS connections. Not to mention a 93Wh battery, FHD webcam with dual mic, Wi-Fi 6E, Intel Killer Wireless, and 2 way speakers with DTS X Ultra are included.
UltraGear laptops, together with LG’s lightweight Gram and high-performance Ultra PC, have been a flagship brand since 2018.
Earlier this year, LG Electronics introduced premium gaming speakers and monitors under the UltraGear brand, including the LG GP9.
LG aims to progressively roll out the new LG Ultra Gear gaming laptops globally, starting in January 2022 in Korea.
