In India, OnePlus has released its latest smartphone, the OnePlus 10 Pro. The phone comes with a Snapdragon 8 Generation 1 chipset. It has a higher-quality AMOLED display than the previous model. In India, this premium smartphone will compete directly with the Samsung Galaxy S22 series and the iPhone 13 series. Along with the smartphone, OnePlus has released the OnePlus Buds Pro.

There are two versions of the phone available. It costs Rs 66,999 for 8GB + 128GB storage and Rs 71,999 for 12GB + 256GB storage. The phone will be available in two colours: Emerald Forest and Volcanic Black. The phone’s starting price on the global market is 899 Euro (about Rs 75,500). It will go on sale in India on April 5th.

Dual-Nano SIM is supported by the phone. It is powered by OxygenOS 12.1, which is based on Android 12. It has a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a QHD+ (1,440×3,216 pixels) resolution. It is based on low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) technology of the second generation. The phone’s display has a dynamic refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus has been applied to the screen. The phone has an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Generation 1 processor and up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM.

For photography, the phone has a triple rear camera setup. It has a Sony IMX789 primary sensor with a 48-megapixel resolution, an f/1.8 lens, and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). A 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide shooter with a 150-degree field-of-view is also included. The third lens is an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with optical image stabilisation. It has a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 camera sensor for selfies.

The phone has 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS / A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. The phone has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the display. The phone has a 5000mAh dual-cell battery that supports both wired and wireless charging at 80W SuperVos and 50W AirVos. The company claims that it can charge from zero to one hundred percent in 32 minutes.
