TRAI report December: 1.29 crore customers left reliance jio

The TRAI figures for Mukesh Ambani’s telecom company Reliance Jio for December 2021 were not encouraging. According to TRAI’s list, 12.9 million (1.29 crore) customers left India’s largest telecom company Jio in December 2021. BSNL, on the other hand, increased its subscriber base by 1.1 million (11 lakh) and Bharti Airtel increased its subscriber base by 0.47 million (4.70 lakh). At the same time, Vodafone Idea lost 16 lakh customers (Vi).

The benefit went to BSNL.

Reliance is the market leader in terms of market share. Jio leads with 36 percent, followed by Bharti Airtel with 30.81 percent, Vodafone Idea with 23 percent, BSNL with 9.90 percent, and MTNL with 0.28 percent. BSNL has effectively added the most subscribers over the course of the month. When a telecom company launches a 4G network in this situation, more people will flock to it. BSNL currently does not have 4G coverage across the country. The company, on the other hand, has benefited from lower tariffs. Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea all launched new data plans in December.

The number was ported by 85.4 lakh users.

The portability of 8.54 million (85.4 lakh) mobile numbers was completed in December. Zone-1 accounted for 4.91 million requests, while Zone-2 accounted for 3.63 million requests. The state with the most MNP requests in MNP Zone-1 is Maharashtra, while Uttar Pradesh has the most MNP requests in MNP Zone-2.
