Ukraine crisis: important virtual meeting of Quad today

In the midst of the Ukraine crisis, a virtual summit of Quad leaders will take place on Thursday. In addition to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, US President Joe Biden, Japanese Prime Minister Fumi Kishinda, and Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison will be present.
On Thursday, the Ministry of External Affairs informed the media about the meeting. According to the ministry, the four leaders will discuss important developments in the Asia Pacific region. The Quad leaders will also assess how well the initiatives that were put in place in accordance with the organization’s agenda are being implemented. In the past, the four leaders had taken steps to advance the Quad’s current and positive agenda. The Quad leaders met in person in September 2021 in Washington.
