Wriddhiman targeted Dravid-Ganguly: Rahul asked me to retire

The Indian Test team has been named for the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka. Rohit Sharma has been named the new captain of the Indian cricket team. At the same time, four senior players were released. Ishant Sharma, Wriddhiman Saha, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Ajinkya Rahane are the players to watch. In the series, these four seasoned players will not be seen.

Saha, the wicket-keeper batsman, has taken aim at the Indian cricket management after being dropped from the team. Coach Rahul Dravid had asked him to retire, he claimed. Sourav Ganguly, on the other hand, made a false promise to keep him in the team.

He also changed his name from Ranji due to team management.

‘I am not participating in the Ranji Trophy this year because my name will no longer be considered for Team India,’ Saha told PTI. Coach Dravid has also suggested that I retire.

Ganguly made a promise he didn’t intend to keep.

Former India captain and BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has also been targeted by Saha. According to Saha, Ganguly assured him that his place in Team India would not be jeopardised. Dada congratulated Saha by sending him a message after he scored an unbeaten 61 in the Test match against New Zealand in Kanpur while on pain medication.

According to Saha, Ganguly told him that he does not need to worry about anything as long as he is the president of the BCCI. After hearing such a talk from the board president, Saha’s confidence had skyrocketed, but now he says he doesn’t understand how everything has changed so quickly. He was given a false promise.

Saha is replaced by KS Bharat.

Wriddhiman Saha’s playing XI for the South Africa series is running out. During the three-match Test series in South Africa, he did not play a single match. Rishabh Pant took over the responsibility of keeping the team together in place of Saha. In place of Saha, young KS Bharat has been called up to the team for the series against Sri Lanka.

Bharat has a long history of success in domestic cricket and can bat anywhere in the order. Saha’s most recent appearance for Team India was against New Zealand.
